This is not a show car - it's a driver - though it does get looks everywhere my daughter and I go. The chrome is excellent, though there some pitting on the upper windshield area. Some surface rust on the hood, due likely to a not great prep job before paint at some point long before my ownership. Other bodywork seems to be true, though there is some in a few sections throughout, dings, paint flakes, etc. The metal dash on the interior is a bit surface pitted, and the door/interior body panels can use to be refreshed, but all is there. The starter has never failed me, though I'm told it might be time at some point to swap it out. Heat works great. The undercarriage is excellent. It does leak a little oil, as most Corvair enthusiasts will attest. As I stated, I have used it as my daily driver spring-fall the past few years. It recently has had a tendency to get hot on longer trips, my mechanic thinks it's a timing/cam timing/carb adjustment issue. I am not inclined to put more money into it, and at 85k miles, I'm hoping it makes it to a good home for someone else to tinker with enjoy her as much as I did. Most parts came for Clark's Corvair, or other Corvair speciality shops - everything on this car since I've owned it has been done the right way with care. I hate to see her go, but it's time I guess. I've tried to be as honest and up-front as I'd want someone to be with me, so if you have any questions, just ask! But no, even though I've driven this 200+ miles round trip recently, you shouldn't drive it home to California! Bring a trailer!

The reserve is far less than the total of the parts and the car's worth, priced for a quick and painless sale. Sold as is with no warranty, written or implied. All sales are final. Good luck, there's plenty of summer weather still left to enjoy her on the road!
