Up for bid is a 1962 Chevy II wagon from the ChevyIIGuru collection. Has had the same owner since 1984. Was bought out of California in 1984 and driven here to northern Indiana. It spent a few years being driven here in the Midwest before being parked, taken apart, and left in the corner of a garage. Plan was to restore to new original condition but the owner never was able to get it finished. It has the factory original numbers match 194 cubic inch straight 6 that will start with fuel dumped in the carburetor. Also has the original powerglide transmission. Has rare factory air conditioning ac compressor and brackets are still on the engine. Heater box for ac is in the car. Body is in nice shape. Small rust spot on the passenger lower quarter pannel. There was rust on the drivers floor board in front of the front seat that was cut out, also a small spot on the passenger floor that was cut out. Bondo on both dog legs in front of the rear tires. See pictures. We do have factory rust free floor panels that can be used as replacements. Includes front bench and rear folding bench seat. Includes all glass except windshield. What you see is exactly what you get. Everything in the car goes. Many boxes of parts for this car are in the car.We have many extra used parts and GM NOS parts that can be had at extra cost to help finish this project. Please ask any questions before bidding.
