1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indy Pace Car
This Pace Car is a true survivor, all original and unmolested. The serial number on this car is 900500, that is the 500 Pace car built in 1978. The car is originally from California andthe underside of this car is perfect! ThePace Car still has the original paint from factory, many of the NCRS members is my area have told me not to paint the car because it's consider a survivor. Some options include the original CB radio, air condition that works and blows cold ( I just had it serviced) tilt and tel steering wheel.The motor has never been modified or taken apart and is all original, all factory pieces are present and nothing is missing or has been removed! The Pace Car is very rarebecause of the motor (L82) and the transmission (4Speed M21) there were only 512 built with this combination. I have an extra set of stripes for the car, I was going to paint the car it but could not bring myself to removing the original paint. The Pace Car runs and drive perfectly, the choke works the way it should. All gauges work except for the clock (it works but it does not keep the correct time).
