1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100

This is a 1956 Chevy stepside with a clear title. The body is mostly straight with a few minor dents and a few rust out places that you can see in the pictures. Included are patch panels for the rear of the front fenders, an extra driver side front fender, a custom grille, rear mounted battery, and the original gas inlet has been welded up.It already has an 82-87 Iroc Z Camaro front end. Whoever did the conversion did a great job. Looks like it grew there. Personally, I would cut a coil or coil and a half off the front springs to lower the front a bit. The rear springs have been flipped (rear end is above springs, not below like original). It needs new shocks all around. The engine is a Chevy 350, and was built by a previous owner. It cranks and sounds strong. No smoke at all. I drove it around the block and it seemed good. The turbo 350 trans, however, puked a lot of oil when I got it back to my shop, so new seals are a must. Power disc brakes on front, drum on rear and they work. It has a 12 bolt Chevy rear end, probably from the same 82-87 Camaro. Already has a custom made driveshaft. Radiator is non-stock, but seems to work fine. The column is also Camaro, tilt with column shifter. Wheels are 15 inch Camaro. Front tires show some cracking, but rear tires show none. Also has headers (little rusty), Edelbrock valve covers, chrome water pump, power steering reservoir, alternator. Has aluminum intake. Also included are headlight buckets, vent window frames, window regulators, hood brace, tail lights, door/window handles, side spears, etc. Has a pair of late 80's GMC truck bucket seats also. It is missing some things like front bumper and brackets and a top brace that connects the front fenders together, and a gas tank. It also needs gauges and new wiring. Needs a total restoration, but could be a rat rod with a little work. This is a great project truck with much work already done. I bought it from a friend who needed some money. I am currently building a 1955 Chevy truck and I cannot do two at once. I need the space as well. I have priced the truck to make a quick sell. I believe that with all that is included, it is a bargain. Call/text Steve at 903-219-2972 if questions. Vettemansteven@aol.com.
