Description:

1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 BelAir

A great find !
1956 Bel Air Sport Coupe that was recently pulled from the basement of the last owner who bought it in 1995

It is partially disassembled. Comes with a 1968 327 with double hump heads and a Powerglide .
It was a running driving 56 before disassembly years ago .

The engine and transmission are currently out of the car and the front fenders are held on with a few bolts but notcompletely installed and the hood is placed on the car.
Tag shows the original colors are the current ones . India Ivory with Twilight Turquoise.
Originally a V8 automatic car .
Paint was done in the 80s and paint and prior repairs are showing there age with cracking and some bubbling. I don’t see any current major rot holes . The front floors need replacement but the replacement panels are there but not installed. The rest of the floor and trunk look solid as well as the frame . The rockers have no visible rot holes. There is somebubbling but overall not bad.
All the trim is there and is in my opinion in great condition . One door glass is cracked and the other is missing . Needs interior upholstery work.
I have a clear CT Title even though CT only requires a bill of sale for a car this old.
A decent 56 Bel Air Sports Coupe project is extremely hard to find now .
I personally would just reassemble with some interior work and drive it like it is with the nice patina . A great LS swap candidate also.

For the right person itwouldn't takea lot to get it back on the road.

The only thing I know about the condition of the engine and the trans is that it was running well before it was removed. It has been in the basement out of the elements for years.
