This top-of-the-line Malibu option could be fitted with the popular Super Sport option adding... a Deluxe steering wheel, special SS wheel covers, bucket seats with center console, full dash instrumentation with a tachometer, and exterior SS badging. Special engine options in SS-equipped Malibu examples for 1964 were limited to the 327ci V8 offering 300hp at the highest output. This new heartbeat has been upgraded with a Pro Comp aluminum intake and Edelbrock 750cfm carburetor, aluminum radiator with electronic cooling fans, chrome valve covers & air cleaner, chrome alternator, under dash water temp gauge by AutoGage, HEI ignition, along with dual Flowmaster performance exhaust with H-pipe! Other features and options include Delco AM radio, power-assisted drum brakes, power folding convertible top, 225/70R14 redline radial tires, SS454 carpeted floor mats, and Old Air Products under dash air conditioning system to stay cool even on the hottest summer days!
