55 Chevy Bel Air Sedan

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air

This is a nice, clean, unmolested 55 Bel Air Sedan. It has the 235 inline 6 with the always fun to drive 3 on the tree manual shift transmission. The odo reads 44264 which are as is, but I have to believe that's original based on lack of wear on the petals and the interiors appears to be original and in pretty good shape. It dash is uncut on retains its original radio....not working.
The body is nice but does show wear for its age. It has the two-tone crème over blue paint. There is a crease in the drivers rear door...see pic. This is some rough spots behind the back bumper by the truck. This is a great 20 footer is can be proud to take to your local cruise night.
The interior appears to be original and it think is the original headliner too. There is little wear and is not show condition, but very acceptable. It even has the rockin 60s compass on the dash.
Mechanically, it runs strong. The clutch enacts smoothly and shifts well. Its fun to drive. It does not have power brakes or steering which makes the beauty fun to drive......just like old cars should be!!!!
The chrome and stainless shows ok but could use a good buff to make it pops. It also features front and back bumper guards and a front grill guard. The tires and exhaust were replace last year.
This is really is a nice cool car that is fun to drive---I just wanted to point out the flaws....remember it is 62 years old.
