Fast, handles like a sports car! Has a/c.
1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Pro Touring
$80,000 invested. I personally drove this car home before it even went into our shop for inspection. It was awesome! It functioned better then most Pro Touring I've driven. Fast, steered tight, stopped on a dime. Tires didn't rub, engine never missed a beat. No weird noises or feelings. A guy bought this car in Texas on Ebay for $38,000 for what looked like a beautiful, finished car. I have receipts for over $40,000 for all the improvements he made... getting it dialed in. Everything from LED bulbs in the dash, to rebuilding window mechanisms to upgrading the headlight doors to electric. Comes with the receipts. EXTERIOR: Painted in 2010, recently touched up at high end shop. The body is straight, fits nice. Paint has a smooth glossy finish. Stripes are properly painted. It features the R/S hidden headlights and the vacuum system was upgraded with Detroit Speed electric. Has LED headlights. I love the wheels, original style SS wheels with a modern flair. They are 17 inch cut billet aluminum. New Nitto performance tires. Glass was recently tinted, new windshield. It also features exterior trim group, spoilers and no ugly vinyl top. Alot of the chrome and trim is replaced. Jambs are clean, new weatherstrips. INTERIOR: New TMI seat cushions, upholstery and door panels. New armrests and window cranks. New carpet and embroidered mats. New headliner, visors and mirror. Dash area was taken apart and restored. New heater controls, dash pad, bulbs upgrades to LED. Metal was repainted. Wiring and gauges were tested and repaired as needed. New ashtray and lighter. New glovebox liner, has owner's manual. Has an all new stereo system with amp and speakers. Really nice upgraded leather grip wheel. It features factory console with gauges, in dash tachometer and GM seatbelts. Controller to tune fuel injection is in the console. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: BTP Performance built the 540 stroker big block with an estimated 650 horsepower. Starting with a Gen VI it has a 4.5 bore, 4.25 strokes, small dome JE 9.6:1 compression pistons, Scat forged crank Manley rods, and hydraulic roller cam. The heads are rectangular port, has Comp roller rockers, stainless valves, dual roller springs. On top is a Brodix aluminum intake and Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system. Has MSD ignition system and long tube headers. Aluminum water pump and big aluminum radiator keeps it cool. Has stock fan and shroud. A lot of the components look new like the alternator, hoses, brackets, horns, air conditioning system, wiring. The power brake booster and master are chromed. Dressed up with a nice looking set of tall aluminum Chevrolet valve covers. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rock solid. Has a really nice custom made carpeted mat with sewn edges. Also included is a new car cover and a fender cover. Bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are glossy. There's a new weatherstrip and decals. The owner even made sure the trunk light works. UNDERSIDE: It has substantial handling upgrades. Drilled and slotted Wilwood disc brakes at all 4 wheels. Up front it has fat tubular control arms with grease fittings, adjustable gas shocks, adjustable tie rods, sway bar, new springs, ball joints etc. Frame connectors attach the subframe to rear frame rails. In back it has new sway bar and adjustable gas shocks. The bottom of the motor is spotless, has high torque starter. Turbo 400 trans has deep, extra capacity pan. The rear end is a rebuilt 12 bolt 3.73 posi with aluminum cover. It has a real fat dual exhaust with dumps and Flowmaster mufflers. New fuel tank. The floors are real clean. Even the lower inner 1/4s still have the factory drain plugs. I've been doing this over 30 years, driven thousands of collector cars. This one truly impressed me.
