I am selling a beautiful 1962 Corvette, an iconic vehicle with timeless style. This car gets nothing but thumbs up and draws a crowd at any show. It is a very original car and has not been messed with or hot-rodded over the years like most. Odometer states 44,677miles and I believe it to be accurate. It has a factory replacement 327 solid lifter motor that runs like a top. It starts right up every time, idles smooth, has plenty of power, and runs and drives great. The 4 speed manual transmission goes through all the gears beautifully. The original survivor paint sets it apart from most others. It is lifting mostly on the trunk & hood due to the way it was stored, but has a great look and still shows off the flawless, unmolested body. Everything opens and closes beautifully using the original key. The frame, floors, trunk, etc. are all in great shape. The original interior is also in beautiful condition. It was always covered and preserved so there are no rips or tears. The convertible top is also in great shape, but has a few spots where the frame has worn through from opening and closing over the years. All the chrome is in very good shape as well, showing minimal wear for its age. The car was recently gone through mechanically to ensure it's road worthy and tuned up properly.Everything on the car is in good working order. All locks, windows, lights, signals, every gauge isaccurate, the horn, wipers, etc. Even the courtesy light goes on and off with the door.
Overall, it is an iconic car that is a blast to drive. It goes down the road beautifully and always puts a smile on everyone's face. It can easily be enjoyed for its originality just as it is, or painted into a show-winner.
