This car was in long term storage until recently, fitted with a NOM Big Block and 4 speed Manual trans the previous owner cherished this car. He was an autocross guy that fitted the rear roll cage and fire extinguisher. Motor runs (please see video), although this was video was taken by us it was however on a stand-alone fuel source as the tank will require cleaning and hooking back up.
This is not a Numbers Matching car, but is a 67 Coupe which we would feel suitable for a Resto-Mod. We can confirm the water pump and inlet are the L88 style Aluminium items, we are not sure if they are genuine but there are some good shots for you to look at and decide for yourself. The casting number on the Block reads 14015445, not sure if 396, 427 or 454???
The body work of the car has led a life, the front end, fenders and nose cone will require attention as it shows to have had repairs in the past. The rear of the car is also the same, please study the pictures carefully, as pieces of bodywork are missing in areas. Body work was started at some point in the past but never finished. Please look at the image showing the pin-striping, this carries a signature of the Dallas based guy "Dirty Dallasâ€, famous for pin striping throughout the 70's and 80's - please check his social media pages under the same name. The paint has had various parts sanded over the years, make no mistake it will require much work, that being said if your handy in this area it won't be a problem. The Stinger hood is in original condition as well.
The car sits on Rally Wheels and fender exit headers; side pipes are long gone. Interior is in great shape, seats have no rips or tears, carpet is good for age also. Dash top and steering wheel & centre console all in great shape, same with gauges etc...
The underside of the car is really nice!Please take time to look at the frame shots, it's definitely a dry State car due to its rock-solid underside!
All in all, this is a great opportunity to obtain a mid-year big block car. Yes, a project but it does run (sounds really healthy - listen to video please), odometer is showing clearly 36,482 miles, not sure if this is actual or not?
This car is a bargain, these vehicles are commanding big monies now once restored, a fabulous opportunity for the enthusiast, or Resto-Mod Builder. This car has sat for a period of years unused and is being sold as a project. Clean Texas Title, Shipping anywhere in the World.
