MORE INFORMATION ON THIS CAR:I am attempting to help a client of mine sell this car. Feel free to make offer, price is negotiable! The last three photos are of the car when Chuck Nauman owned the car and were taken after 1972 and before 1975. The car had when Chuck bought it from Mark Chevrolet in 1972 with around 36,000 actual miles a blacked out tail pan as a big block car. Chuck painted the tail pan white to match the white GM D90 SS striping. The other photos are of the car as it is now.The original trim tag decode this car as British Racing Green with Black standard interior. The car has console and is a 4-speed Muncie car with 12 bolt and multi-leaf suspension. This is a true SS big block car born with 4-speed console and L34 396 one of 2,579 L34 cars built in 1968 out of the 235,147 Camaros produced int the 1968 model year, according to owner history and a signed Letter of Provenance. This is 1% of all the Camaros built in 1968 were 396 L34 cars! To give you an idea of how rare of a car this is: there were 4575 L78 396 375hp solid lifter cars produced in the same year. This car was also born with special paint one year only Corvette color British Racing Green as the trim tag shows. So between the super rare L34 option, the special one year only Corvette Green Z2 code on trim tag, and 4-speed Muncie car with consle--this is a VERY RARE find! The car is for sale with NOM big block, but I can for an additional charge provide the correct #440 date coded MX suffix block or engine. I can also have the black vinyl top put back on professionally installed for an additional charge. This car has sat in a garage since the 1990's for the most part and needs some clean up work. It is being sold AS IS without warranty expressed or implied. There have been rust repairs to to underside of the car by a prior owner and may still have some rust that needs dealt with. The car also received GM NOS quarter panels and front fenders during a restoration in the 1990's. We have rounded up the correct radio for the car and have the front bumper for the car that is in good condition that will be put back on for any future buyer free of charge. The front bumper was left off because the prior owner though it looked more stylish with it off. No parts are guaranteed born or original to the car. I own a full engine machine shop and auto restoration facility. I can detail and bring the restoration on this car more up to date and to a higher standard for an additional cost over and above the asking price, if desired. Car comes with owner history documentation, NCRS paper work and signed official Letter of Provenance! The car has tic-toc tach and full gauge package in the console! I can also supply the correct SS hood, painted and installed for an additional fee, along with blacking out tail pan if desired. Odometer now shows between 50,000 and 60,000 but will be sold as mileage exempt and not guaranteed actual. Car comes at asking price with cowl hood. This is a Norwood built car assembled by GM 4th week of April 1968. Offical GM Production date 5/03/1968. Inquire for details.

Disclaimer: All Indiana residents are required to pay sales tax of 7% on the purchase price of this vehicle, unless you are a dealer. If you are a resident of another state, I am required to arrange for the auto transport of this vehicle to you if you do not want to pay sales tax. No warranty expressed or implied. While this car appears to have some very original attributes or options, I guarantee no parts, options, or features of the car to be "born" or "original" to the car. I did not buy the car new and am selling it for a client and many parts were removed and replaced over the years on these old cars for many reasons, whether they broke wore out or other reasons.
