1972 Chevrolet Nova --
This is a great one, trust me it is a keeper. 57,500 actual mile car with virgin rust free original metal. Show condition and awesome mechanical upgrades that were done right. It functions and looks like new. EXTERIOR: Always a western car until recently, mostly lived in Arizona. Never rusted anywhere. It is pristine, I'm circling around the car for the second time now and I don't see a flaw. The body is absolutely laser straight, all the body panels... fit like a new Lexus. I don't see any signs of bubbles or cracks. The paint is polished out like glass, even down low you can see the reflection of the ground like a mirror. All the emblems, side moldings, door handles, mirrors, hood grills look new. The stainless around the front and back windows look new. Up front the bumper, grill, bezels and lenses are all like new. The trim on the front edge of the hood is a very nice original piece. In back the bumper, tail panel, lenses look new. The rear and side glass is crystal clear, windshield is new. All the weather strips including around the vent windows and window seals are in excellent shape. Jambs are painted real slick. New custom made 17 inch steel rims powder coated to match the car with new poverty caps. New BFG G-Force tires. INTERIOR: It is really mint inside this car. It has low miles so the dash area is pristine. Heater controls look like new, slide easily. The lenses are clear, little chrome outlines are shiny. Glove box is real nice, light works. Overhead the mirror is crystal clear, the visors, headliner and shoulder belts are excellent. The overhead light works. The factory Am-Fm stereo was sent out and restored with modern guts, has aux plug. New carpet and matching embroidered floormats. New correct upholstery and rear speaker shelf. Door panels are excellent originals. New Flaming River tilt column with deluxe wheel. New in dash tachometer and aftermarket oil/temp gauges under the dash. New Hurst shifter, boot and chrome bezel. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has a 396 bored to a 402. Very detailed spec sheet included. All new balanced internals, has roller Comp Cam. On top sits dual Edelbrock 500 cfm carbs and MSD ignition system. New alternator, battery, power steering pump. Upgraded custom radiator with shroud. New cadmium plated power brake booster, new master. It is detailed, show quality under the hood. Dressed up with finned aluminum valve covers and a dual snorkel air cleaner. Every component looks like new- the washer bottle, brake lines, and power steering hoses, steering couplers, battery cables etc. All the metal is very smooth, nice satin black finish. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Perfectly clean sheet metal has a coat of aqua spatter finish paint. New trunk mat, has a functional spare and jack assembly. Underside of the trunk lid is painted real slick, the stickers and new weather strip are new. It shut like a new car. UNDERSIDE: Rust free original metal. Even the inner rockers and lower 1/4s are dry as a chalk board. Hooker headers connect to a 2 1/2 inch exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. Upgraded with a new TKO 600 Tremec 5-speed. Cruises at 2,000 rpms at 70 mph in 5th gear. New Hayes clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. In back it has a new Ford 9 inch with 3.50 traction lock. Has iron nodular center section, big bearings, 31 spline Strange axles. The front suspension is upgraded with CPP Pro Touring upper and lower tubular control arms with grease fittings. Has Hotchkis springs, gas shocks and heavy sway bar. New CPP quick ratio steering box. In back it has Cal-Trac control arms, gas shocks, new multi leaf springs and heavy duty sway bar. Has disc brakes at all 4 wheels. A folder of receipts, original literature, 1972 license plate and Protect-o-plate are included. They are all great cars here but there also those that really rise above. I knew the owner of this car and the quality of his cars. I drove it knowing it would not have a thing wrong with it. I was right, it did everything perfectly. Tires didn't rub the fenders, clutch didn't chatter, steering was smooth and straight etc. You will be getting a car with no bugs!
