Description:

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

1970 Chevelle with 454 engine & paxton pro charger. There is a bunch of new parts that I have replaced over the last few years, the 454 was recently installed when the tired 396 was removed, the internals of the 454 were new within the last year, and runs great! Has a new Holley 750 double pumper, new plugs & wires, new ignition, new high flow electric fuel pump, new water pump, starter, wiper motor, it recently had all shocks replaced with brand new "gas adjust" shocks front & rear, front A arm bushings, tires are a year old with less than 1000 miles on them. New door lock cylinders & ignition cylinder. New sheet metal, front fenders L & R, Hood, new front & rear windshields, I have most of the original chrome in the trunk, I have a new headliner that is not installed yet, included in the sale will be a left rear quarter panel & inner wheel house. The 12 bolt rear end is not a posi, and has had the fluid changed out with new chrome diff cover, and gasket. New U-Joints, and possibly other parts that I may have forgotten to list. The floor seems to be solid, the trunk looks to be ok also, there is some minor surface rust inside the trunk, and both quarter panels are rusted around the wheel wells, as far as I know the fuel tank is original. The car did have a vinyl top at one time, and does not now. The 454 is mated up with a TH400 transmission that was rebuilt 1 year ago, it has all new alto red clutches, kevlar bands, and also a new pump, with a 2200 rpm torque convertor.
This is a project car that needs to be finished. It does run and drive, and is currently licensed & insured, & I do drive it from time to time, so the milage will continue to increase. The car has not been on the road for more than 25+ years, so I believe the odometer is the actual miles, but I can not guarantee if it is actual!
Buyer will be responsible for pick up or delivery. As I have no means to ship it.
The sale is as is, and I can only guarantee the info I have listed as new parts to be accurate. When I purchased this car a few years back, the 73 yr old fellow had it sitting in his garage for more than 20 something years.
This may be a SS car? But I have no idea how to tell for sure, so I am only guaranteeing that its a 1970 Chevelle, as thats what the title says & I do not know much else as far as that goes. My insurance lady said the vin came back as a SS427? Not sure if the SS427 was even an option? Buyer is responsible to verify details of car by Vin#
