1965 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

We purchased this 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS that we found in the garage where it had been stored since about 1980. The car was not running at this time.We took it into the shop and cleaned it.We then started on getting it to run.The car will now start and is movable and can be loaded and unloaded off the trailer. The brake system is functional.This would make a great restoration project as the car is pretty much complete and has the original motor. It has two speed powerglide transmission. Bucket seats with console shifter. The motor runs but it does smoke the tranny seems to shift fine.At some point someone has removed all of the side glass from the doors and quarter panel. We have all the glass and it appears all of the runners are there also. The chrome reveal around the windows is also with the car see pictures. The floorboards are nice and solid there is a little rust in trunk area and on the pinch weld behind the trunk between the rear bumper. Both quarter panels have rust as you can see in the pictures that I have displayed. It appears that the right front fender and hood have been replaced on the car at one point. The car was originally maroon and someone at one point painted it blue.
