Description:

1960 Chevrolet El Camino

Immaculate El-Camino. Never used as a truck. Rear cargo area is mint. The original owner ordered the truck THIS WAY. 348 Special Hi-Performance Solid Lifter Tri-Power Engine, Borg Warner 4-Speed transmission, Positraction rear differential. This is the factory original matching numbers drive train with only 50,000 miles of summer driving. In 50 years of owning classic vehicles this is the cleanest unrestored absolutely rust free and never damaged chevy that I have ever owned. I got BOTH original number coded keys with the car (one key fits everything in 1960). After april 1st 1960 the Hi-Performance 348 Engine went to 350hp as was continued in 1961 with the "FH" code. Still has the original spare tire and jack. Original numbered and tagged carbs, generator, all "deep" pullies, starter, radiator, regulator, & washer bottle. I completely serviced the truck from one end to the other. EVERYTHING works as it should. Radio, clock, horns, wipers, windshield washers, signals, all lights inside & out, dealer installed emergency flashers, all locks and windows lubricated. Interior is original right down to the rubberized floor cover. The rear cardboard package shelf is like new (see photo) as it has a custom cover to protect it from sunshine. It slides right off when showing the car. It drives absolutely like brand new. It is laser straight because it has never been hit. Inside and out it looks like a one year old car. No dissapointments. You will not find another unrestored 60 year old El-Camino like this.
