RESTORABLE 72 CAMARO RS SS

1972 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS

I have for sale a VERY RESTORABLE 1972 CAMARO RS SS with a clear title. This is an ORIGINAL RS SS and NOT A CLONE. The car comes with TWO engines the number matching and a modified 350. It has been stored and off the road for a number of years and has been weathered with some surface rust and a couple perforated areas repairable with inexpensive patch panels shown in the photos. The floors are solid with the trunk floor showing surface rust. There was a long GM labor strike in 72 and this model was produced in VERY LOW MUMBERS. The engine currently in the car has been modified and has VERY LOW MILES. My son had plans to use the car for street and strip, but it never came to be. The car has the close ratio 4 speed transmission, Hurst shifter and aluminum flywheel and is currently equipped with a 4.88 rear, the standard gears are with the number matching engine. In preparing the car for use after a long storage, the brake system was flushed and the rear cylinders, hardware, front calipers, hoses and master cylinder were all replaced. The fuel system was flushed, tank replaced, 800CFM HOLLEY carb rebuilt to ensure a clean fuel system. The car is equipped with a boltin rollbar. I have the parts that were removed when the engine was installed and everything is included with the car. I have attempted to describe this as accurately as possible.
