This 1959 4-speed Corvette is finished in rare Classic Cream with white coves. This color combination is such a nice fit on this design and is nicely accented by aluminum Torq Thrust wheels to give a sporty look. The paint and all the brightwork are in very good condition, while a long... history in the southwest has kept the frame dry and rust-free. The car also has a folding white soft top and a matching cream hard top with stand. The original 283ci engine has been upgraded to a 350ci (3970010 casting) with a few performance parts including a larger camshaft, aluminum intake manifold, 4-barrel Holley carburetor, and Pertronix ignition module. It has been professionally tuned and will easily spin the tires. Note all the ignition shielding remains in place. The Borg Warner T10-1C 4-speed transmission shifts smoothly without undue clutch effort, and really adds to the driving experience.The black interior is standard C1 and looks great against the paint color. The seats are more comfortable than you might expect, though the factory's large C1 steering wheel can make ingress/egress a little tricky. All the gauges and instruments work including the cable driven tachometer. The wipers, horn, heater, and parking brake all work as well. The original radio has been replaced with a JVC digital unit.The Corvettes from this era really are beautiful cars, and this one looks great from any angle with its one-year-only colors. It can put a smile on your face just standing still. Just think how you'll feel when you're driving.
