1977 Chevy SWB 4x4. Truck is great shape with original paint. GM crate engine has about 4200 miles on it with edelbrock intake and carb, headers and dual exhaust. new 4" lift to replace the old worn out one, new 33" tires on rally wheels, all new steering components including box. truck drives like brand new. original hickey sidewinder winch that works, dual batteries. i have the original white steel wheels that came on it new.
a little history about the truck.
was sold brand new in Elk Grove, CA with original build sheet and sales receipt included. original owner raced bikes at the dunes back in the day and had a custom matching trailer made as seen in the pictures. that picture is from about 1980. in the late 80s he was transferred from CA to OR for work and was also given a company truck. the truck then sat in a shop and the usage became less and less until it was just sitting all the time. the second owner bought the truck in 2010 and started freshening it up. a new GM crate engine was installed with all paperwork, new lift, wheels and tires, etc. i bought the truck about 6 months ago because it was like the one i had in high school. it is a great truck but since my dad passed i have some of his bills that need to be taken care of and have to sell a couple of my toys to cover them. the truck has only a few spots of rust as seen in the photos. it has been on the west coast its entire life. the original owner and 2nd owner both live within 10 miles of me. this truck is very reliable and i would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. i would say the worst part about the truck is the original style radio and 1 speaker that works.
