Factory 1947 Chevrolet Cabriolet (X Frame)
Convertible Woodie (aka. Country Club)
*One of the Rarest vehicles according to the "75 Years of Chevrolet" (the Chevrolet bible)*
Made for cruising anywhere in the U.S.A., she has a reliable strong 350 (SBC) engine with a more modern 700r4 overdrive transmission - modern front and rear suspension for more of a Cadillac ride (smooth sailing). The interior was left with her beautiful stock appearance but updated to give her more of a aggressive look (factory seats recovered in modern materials) new carpet and just a hint of - Speedo works along with gauges and yes even the Horn works (Jay Leno said to me if a horn don't work on a Classic Car then well, it ain't built right!)
Body:
One of a kind Custom touch's that really give this 47 a one of a kind look, starting from the front "French'd lights, louvered hood and beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon coloring, accentuated with sparkling Chrome the idea was that "less is more", the lines of this Convertible are Beautiful and best enjoyed with the top down (even though it does have a factory top).
Engine:
Nicely detailed, see the pictures to understand the power steering allows you to maneuver her easily through traffic the power brakes stop nicely and safely.
Conveniences:
If your like me then you enjoy having a nice Steak and some Chocolate cake for dessert! I have to have two things in any car "Tilt Steering Wheel" and "Power Windows".. Top is in good shape even though I have not had it up since she lives in the Garage
The details:
The trunk is even fully lined and finished off, don't you dislike it when you look at a Hot Rod and the trunk is ugly? Let's face it, this is not my daily driver (heck she lives in her own private garage).
Not shown to anyone for Decades! Unlike most Hot Rods being offered this ole gal has not been out to any Shows - the new owner will be the first to show her to the Public (Car Shows are not my thing).. She has rarely even been outside the past few years..
