Cruisin Classics would like to show off a new addition to the showroom in the form of a 1970 Chevrolet Nova built to be a YENKO Tribute. The very beautiful paint in Apple Red Kandy will put you in a trance when outside. As you can tell immediately, the YENKO tribute badging and striping has been done tastefully in mostly vinyl. Another immediate eye catcher is the open hood with a Weiand Blower sticking out. It is a very beautiful... and striking vehicle. In fact, so striking that it caught the judges attention at the Cincinnati Cavalcade of Customs 2019 where it placed second in a very large pool of classics. THE ENGINE454 cubic inch big block (casting # 361959=73 to 85 454) under the hood and a gorgeous, polished, Weiand Blower sticking out from over the hood. Inside the beast are Clevite Bearings, sealed Power Forged Pistons, Melling Oil Pump and Magnum Rocker Arms. While it may look intimidating, it is very easy to start and idles just fine on its own without pumping the Bejesus out of it. It is also very responsive to whatever you give it. You ask for fast...you get it. Also, under the hood is a Holley 750 cfm carburetor, Long tube headers with cabin controlled electric cutouts that when opened give you a sound only American Made Muscle can emit, Mallory Hyfire Microprocessor Controlled CD Ignition System, Holley Electric Pump and an aluminum radiator. You will also notice the components for power steering and power brakes with the front being disc with drums in the rear. It is very clean, organized and very apparent that it was done professionally. Going with the car is a very thick folder with tens of thousands of dollars in receipts that all pertain to this classic. The mileage is not accurate. THE INTERIORInside you will find a Black Pro Car leather bucket seat interior, a full in dash cluster of AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite gauges. The shifter for the transmission is on the floor and is a Hurst Quarter Stick ratchet shifter. The carpet, headliner, dash and seats are all in beautiful condition and ready for the show. The radio is an AM/FM Stereo Cassette Player. It is a very comfortable setup inside and makes you feel like you are part of the car. THE TRANSMISSION and UNDERCARRIAGEA built Turbo 350 transmission was chosen for this ride. It has a 10-bolt POSI rear end with 3:55 gears and Moser Axles. The suspension includes Hotchkis Lowering Springs and CalTracs Traction Bars. The long tube headers flow back to a dual Flowmaster Exhaust, the aforementioned powered cutouts and tailpipes that exit behind the rear tires. The pans and fuel tank are in great condition. The tires are Mickey Thompson 15 M/T Drag Radials that look superb on the Nova. They are paired with American Racing Wheels, aluminum. 15 X 5 Front and 15 X 8 Rears. In general, this is a very cool Muscle Car that has awesome looks and can back it up with enough power to be able to cause the other guy at the light to give up before it even starts.
