1967 Chevrolet Chevelle

This beautiful '67 Malibu Hardtop was brought back East from a good life in the dry climate of Arizona from new. A totally rust and damage free car needing paint which was very sun baked and faded along with an original but worn interior, this car went to an owner that spared no expense to restore the car properly both cosmetics and mechanicals. A bare metal respray in the original '67 color of Butternut Yellow was completed by a very good shop in our area to a high level of quality, the paint is virtually show quality. Every body panel was fitted for excellent alignment and car was properly prepared for outstanding finish paint. This car retains all of its original factory body panels attesting to its integrity. All exterior trim was either replated or replaced as was all of the weatherstripping. A complete new interior was fitted including a full restoration of the dash and steering wheel. The car has a correct in dash AM-FM radio that plays properly. All gauges and lamps function. A complete rebuild to stock specifications was performed on the 210hp, 327 motor. It runs positively excellent with just 2500 miles since the rebuild. The Turbo-Hydramatic 350 was also rebuilt and a new 3:55 gearset was fitted in the rebuilt positraction third member. Complete new dual exhaust and a full front end rebuild of the front suspension was performed. The car has Power Steering and Power front disc brakes. All new rear brakes were also done. The chassis, floors and trunk pan are completely rust free as you would expect in a car from the Southwest. A set of brand new 15' x 7" American Racing Torque-Thrust T70 wheels were fitted with new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires just 2500 miles ago to really complete the look of this stunning Chevelle.
This is a great car that was built to be driven and enjoyed safely and reliably. We are offering the car at a price that will never approach what was spent to restore this Malibu. The owner restored the car with no regard to cost as his plan was to retain the car long term for his enjoyment but a situation arose causing him to sell the car. Good '66 and '67 Chevelles are becoming increasingly hard to finding and one nicer than this would be challenging. Let me be very clear......this car runs, drives and performs as good as it looks. I would have no reservation hitting the road for extended travel in this well sorted Chevelle. Come to Erie, PA to see the car or ask any question you may have to assist in your decision to bid. We are proud to offer this car knowing the next owner will be thrilled with his purchase. Thank You.
