The Complete Owners History of this Iconic "Fuelie"

The original owner of this car ordered this car from the factory with the 283 F.I. 283HP engine, 3 Speed Manual transmission, and 4:56 Positraction Rear end. The original color was Artic Blue. The car was brought to the local drag strip from time to time. The second owner repainted the car, given it a custom interior, and wire wheels. He showed the car at Rod and Custom shows.

In 1973, after two years of coercion, Gary Allen convinced a close friend to swap the 57 for a 69 Stingray. Although the 57 only had 43,000 miles on it, it needed a total restoration. Gary brought the car to an entrusted Corvette Restoration Shop. About six months later, the Car and the body shop owner disappeared. The car and body man were found in a small town 100 miles away. The car was finally taken to Larry Elder Corvette Restoration in Kansas City, Missouri. where it went through a total thorough restoration back to the exact original condition.

After Gary Allen acquired the car, he learned that he actually knew the original owner. The original owner provided Gary with a lot of information about the car. He told him that the dealer had a recall on 7014360 Fuel Injection unit's spider and connecting tubes for better performance and acceleration! He also talk about the original blue paint fading within the first couple of years. As you can see, the owner history is all there and very important on the documented Fuel Injection car.

If looks are not enough, you must hear this Corvette run. It is the most dependable and reliable fuel injection Corvette that I have ever driven. The car starts instantly with a touch of the key. Immediately you will hear the solid lifter Duntov Cam 283 come to life. Upon acceleration, you hear the sweet sound of the exhaust which is music to the ears. the car goes into all gear great and runs and drive like its 1957 again. The Frame Off restoration was done some years ago but it has only been driven 185 miles since then. The car was restored back to new again. All original components were rebuilt and still preform like new. All the gauges are restored. All lights work. Even the original radio and heater work well. This is a rare opportunity to buy a very special Corvette. Do not miss out on the extraordinary Fuelie.
