1982 Chevy Corvette frame on restored
1982 Chevrolet Corvette
The 1982 Corvette was the last year that Chevrolet made the third generation or C3 Corvette. It is also the only model year to receive the crossfire fuel injection system. It currently has the original small block V8 engine in it, the original automatic transmission, 75,923 miles on it, and a clean title. I have owned the car (I named her Lucille) for approximately 10 years now, and have spent that time restoring it. Over that period of time the following restoration work has been done: new paint job, new carpet, new door panels, new leather on the seats, new custom carpeted speaker box in the rear with a 10" subwoofer and two 6x9's, new exterior on consoles, frame sand blasted and painted, new composite leaf spring, new shocks, new bushings, new tie rod ends, new flow master exhaust system, new fuel pump, after market shorty headers, new high performance computer chip, new radiator, new alternator, new starter, new power steering pump, new master break cylinder, new heater core, new rear break calipers, new vacuum system for headlights, and I have replaced the rear end chunk upgrading the axle ratio from 2.87 to 3.73.
I originally planned to convert the car to a manual transmission, and so I am also selling all of the parts to complete the conversion. That includes a 4 speed Muncie standard transmission, bell housing, cross member, drive shaft, etc. The only thing missing is the elbow grease and busted knuckles.
