Your bidding on a 1959 Chevy Impala Convertible. Rare # matching 348 Tri-PowerConvertibl, 3 speed and posi traction rear end. Original 348with the correct FA code, indicting it's atrue Tri Power59 motor.
This car was purchase from the original owner about 10 years ago and has been in storage waiting to be restored. I have decided to sell this 59convertible due to have a few others already.
This 59 comes with cool rare documentation like Purchase invoice / build sheet / ownersmanual and warranty cards.
Over all very original factory convertible.Car runs and drive great. 3 speed manual shift car. All lights and turn signal functionas they should.The originalamradio still works. Floor pansappear to be verysolid. Rear floors look to have an older patch job. Trunk floor issolid and original. Spare tire area will need minor work where the lowerquarters meet.Trunk weather strip sealchannels are solid. Very thing else looks to be in goodusable shape. Convertible top looks to be original and in good shape. Top rack is near mintcondition with no rust. Would make a very nice candidate for a frame off restoration.
I might consider selling the car with out the 348.Or with a rebuilt 283? I would like tokeep the motor for a current frame off59 convertible I'm building.Make an offer and I will consider it.
I also have afactory air condition system I can offer to the wining bidder for an extra cost.
