1986 Chevrolet El Camino Base

1986 El Camino with a GM crate 454 swapped in. Engine ready and runs, just needs all the peripherals bolted on to make it a runner.
I bought this car pretty much as you see it here, with the intentions of making it into a street/strip car. Unfortunately time and budget got together with a few other factors and decided that it was not going to happen. I am told by previous owner the trans is a rebuild 700R4 with "RV" shift kit.
This is NOT a car that you can hop in and drive away, it is a project. What you are getting is a G-body Elco with remarkably good bones. The body and undercarriage are in incredibly good shape. The interior is a solid 7/10 and could easily be brought back to daily driver condition if that is your thing. A motivated wrench could have it streetable with a weekend and a case of his/her favorite brew. A builder could save a fortune on sheet metal repairs, since it doesn't need any.
Most all of the parts to finish it off are included with the car, just add your own time and imagination.
There is a slight tweak in the rear bumper, and the dash pad shows the usual 30 year old GM dash cracks.
It has a salvage/restored title, ostensibly due to being a theft recovery at some point in it's past. Unlike a lot of project car's titles, this one is signed, notarized and only requires you to sign on the dotted line and go to the DMV.
G-bodies are getting tough to find in decent shape, don't let this one pass you by.
