1956 chevy
1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210
Up for auction 1956 Chevy
Sold with a bill of sale
the size of the pictures was messed up on the 1st listing that is why it has been relisted
I purchased this car 2 years ago with the intentions of completing the restoration but never got the chance
Overall its a nice start to a project
The 2 short seat braces as well as the inner rockers were removed and never replaced
The floor is solid and was patched on the drivers side there is a small hole on the passenger seat riser about the size of a pack of gum that needs to be fixed
the floor braces on the car are solid and in good shape not all rusted out
the trunk pan has been replaced with a new one as well as the trunk brace and rear lip
The very common rust area on the trunk walls are very solid
The frame is in very good shape I didn't see any rot its the seamless California frame!!!!!
it rolls and steers good
all the suspension parts are there as well
All the body mounts were replaced
both quarters had some patch work in the common rust area in front of the rear wheels and should be repaired/ replaced but the quarters are good and usable
The pass. fender is in great shape no rot at all!!! I mean its a nice one!!!!
the drivers fender isn't the best and needs the eyebrow replaced and the dogleg patch
Both doors solid and in good shape however the drivers door is from a 55 i think??
Both the front and rear windshields are in good shape
The hood and roof are both solid and not all dented up
in the trunk is a few misc parts and trim, s far as i can tell all the stainless is there with the exception of the parking light backing plates and fender extension
the hood bar and the hood bar extensions would polish up for a driver but are not perfect
the bumpers are good for a core or just run them as a rat rod
not pictured is the back seat its just springs not fabric and the splash pan for the front bumper however i personally feel it too rough to use they are both included in the sale as well as the vent window and guts for the doors.
This car is a good starting point for a project the car has a lot of amateur quality work and lacks craftsmanship however the car has solid bones and no heavy rust issues
If you want more pictures and are a serious buyer I can provide more pics.
I will assist in loading if needed
No international buyers
I have a great running 350 engine and trans if the winner is interested
