Details
  • This Corvette had been in the process of being restored for the last few years, and is currently in driver condition.
  • The odometer reads 79,500 miles, however we are not sure if the cluster is original to the car.
  • The frame appears to be in good condition with no apparent damage or repairs that we could see.
  • The headlights and windshield wipers work properly.
  • The carburetor appears to have been rebuilt fairly recently.
  • The block is not original to the car, based on our research the block appears to be from a 1974 Truck. We have not removed the oil pan to check, however we are fairly certain it is a 4-bolt block.

  • The Corvette runs, drives, and stops nicely; over the last 2,000 miles the following items were done:
  • New soft top (White)
  • New carpet (Black)
  • New seat cushions/covers (two-tone Black/Red)
  • Tires
  • Brakes
  • Exhaust

As with any older vehicle, it does have some issues:
  • The transmission has a leak that should be addressed
  • The paint is not perfect, and shows chips in a few areas. It also has some cracks in the paint on the front bumper.
  • The hood has a crack at the edge between the air grille and windshield
  • The clock and volt meter gauge do not work
  • The rear defroster is missing the grille that mounts in the rear deck
  • The fan shroud was modified to install electric fans; because it has been fairly cold the last few months, we have not been able to get the fans to turn on while driving. Their functional condition is unknown.
  • We found that the temperature gauge reads a bit high. For example: when the gauge reads 220 degrees, the engine is actually around 190 degrees.
  • The air conditioning system appears to be complete, but is non-functional

Again, please look at all the photos in this listing, I have tried my best to describe the Corvette as well as possible. Should I come across anything that I forgot I will try and add it to the listing so do check back.
