Up for auction is an original 1956 Chevy Wagon. Car is complete and runs and drives down the road like a 56 Chevy. It has a 265 v-8 with a powerglide transmission. It has had the usual rust repairs done over the years such as the fender tops at the headlights and the fender bottoms. The rear gate also has body filler in it and is cracking. The floors have been patched over the years. The frame has been repaired and looks good and solid. The windshield has some fading around the edges and the drivers door glass is cracked. The doors and quarter panels look good and solid. The interior is original and could use some work. Also, the wipers don't work and the exhaust has been patched up and leaks. The engine is original and uses some oil but does not smoke out the exhaust. It is sold as is/where is. Remember, it is over 60 years old and it is not a restored automobile. It is getting harder to find these old wagons.
