1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air

Remember when you were a little kid and the 'big guy' at the end of the block had a very cool '57 Chevy. You would stand there on the sidewalk holding onto your skateboard while he would cruise on by you. And you thought to yourself "someday I'm gonna have a car like that". Well that day is today, here is your chance to own one way cool '57 Chevy like that 'big guy' at the end of the block had. By the way, he probably drives a Buick now......
This freshly done 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hardtop has just over 2500 miles since it was restored and upgraded. Starting with a original rust-free Florida car it has all the bells and whistles. The laser straight body was shot in a mile deep Black paint that just sets off the beautiful red/black original style interior.
The interior is done in the stock '57 patterns in a red and black combination. Stock front and rear seats. The steering wheel is a custom 'small version' of the stock steering wheel, looks exactly like the stock wheel but not as big, much easier to maneuver the turns. A Sun Super Tach sits on the dash to make sure you don't over rev the 383 as you are going thru the gears! Power windows as well as power door locks....more creature comforts. Sound inside comes from the Custom Auto Sound Stereo with CD changer. Roll up the windows, no worries about messing up your hair, this '57 has Vintage Air (with heater as well). And with the power trunk release it is a breeze to load your Picnic basket and blanket to cruise out for a day in the park. Power steering with a 605 steering box makes driving this car effortless. And stopping is not an issue, power disc brakes up front stop it on a dime and they mount unto 2 1/2" dropped spindles and with the rear end dropped as well this Chevy has the perfect stance!
The noise outside comes from the "Blueprint" crate 383 Stroker small block engine. A mild street cam gives it that rumble that everyone likes to hear. Add-ons to the mill include Edelbrock aluminum intake, AFB style carb, Corvette finned aluminum valve covers, HEI style distributor along with Block Hugger headers. The core support is a Dave Hill design with his cross-flow aluminum radiator, cooled by a pair of electric fans. Power is put to the rear wheels thru a stock '57 rear end with 4:11 gears by way of a Muncie aluminum case four speed with a Hurst Shifter.
At the corners the '57 rolls down the road on a full set of original restored 1960s American Torque Thrust 5 spoke aluminum mag wheels. 15 x 6s on the front shod with 205 65 x 15 radials, 15 x 7s on the rear with 235 75 x 15 radials.
The car also has an alarm system.
Here is the chance to be a kid again, just step up to the plate! This is a very nice car, it was not built just to resell, circumstances have changed so it is being sold, you will not be disappointed.
