Up for auction is a beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. This car had a complete frame-off professional restoration completed in 2016. Car was originally sold in Whitewater, Wisconsin and has a clear Wisconsin title. We have a copy ofthe original invoice from S & S Motors.
The restoration was very well done by TLC in Milton, WI. The drivetrain was changed to a new GM 330 Hp, 350 cu. in crate engine with a rebuilt 200R4 overdrive transmission. It also has a Ford 9" rear differential with 3.25 gears. Exhaust is 2.5" stainless with Magnaflow mufflers and Sanderson headers. The car also has CPP power steering and power disc brakes in the front with 2" drop spindles. This car runs and drives great.
The restoration also included a new Harbor Blue convertible top and new gray leather and vinyl interior. It has a new IDIDIT steering column, Grant steering wheel, Dakota gauges, Raingear wiper system with delay, and cruise control. All the hardware is either new or refurbished original. It also has all new smoke tinted glass.
A few other things included in the restoration were a new fuel tank and sending unit, new 4 core aluminum radiator, new heater core, Fat Mat extreme heat & noise barrier, new REV wheels with Goodyear 215/70R15 tires, and a custom Autosound slidebar radio with a hidden amplified antenna.
