Up for grabs is a 1966 chevy short bed stepside pickup. Less than 100 miles on a completely rebuild 1968 chevy 350 v8. The motor was rebuilt with a new crank, bored 30 over, mild cam, new 600 cfm holley carb,new hei dist,msd wires,new water pump,fuel pump,new aluminum radiator,hoses, headers and a brand new dual exhaust with cherry bombs.The fresh motorwas attached to a 350 automatic transmission that also was completely rebuild topped off with a floor shifter. The truck was one I found sitting out in the ARIZONA desert and hadn't been used in many yrs. The tired 6 cylinder was removed and replaced.The body was left alone although it was repainted at one time,the desert sun has done a great job giving it a very desirable patina.There was a minor patch that was made in the floor board during the build but the rust in the rockers and door bottoms was not touched. The lower portion of the front fenders have been replaced at one time because filler is present in that area. Avery solid body other than what has been mentioned. The truck features a airride system that allows the truck to sit very low, if you want to cut the inner fenders it would sit even lower. It has cpp drop spindles and disc brakes, complete airride setup from airmaxxx, drop pockets in the lower control arms, rear bridge notch and rear shocks. I have hooked up a autometer oil and temp gauge all other gauges do not work.The rear turn signals work but the fronts are missing the sockets.New sending unit in the gas tank and a speedo cable is needed to get the speedo working. All glass is in good shape brand new windshield and rubber. Heater is not hooked up. Black cloth bench seat and visors was redone by the previous owner, new black carpet. Brand new coker biasply wide white wall tires with steel wheels featuring chrome trim rings and baby moon caps. Custom rear brake lights attached to the fenders, the grill and bumpers were untouched. Raised premium pine bed floor with steel bedstrips. Truck runs good and gets tons of looks. Clear Arizona title.
