This 1977 Chevy C10 2WD was built as a joint project with my company and the cancer charity we work with in support of our annual event last month here in Austin, TX.

And yes, the white decals are removable.

The C10 provided a clean slate for a NASCAR truck themed race truck. The cab, bed and front end was pulled off the frame so the frame could be painted and the floors of the cab could be coated in POR15 before being covered in sound deadener.

Due to time constraints with my engine builder in California, the 6.0 L96 was pulled from another vehicle for which it was built with less than 20k miles. We used a Brian Tooley Stage II Truck Cam with new LS6 valve springs. The 4L80e was rebuilt from a core with a new trans cooler. I am excited to have used the new Fitech Ultimate LS 750 HP kit w/ trans controller which has a self-learning ECU & touch screen controller for an easy setup and configuration. It made installation and tuning a breeze. Fitted an aluminum radiator with electric fans and custom aluminum shroud. Truck was outfitted with new LED lights all around.

Truck received a new steel hood with 2" cowl and new fenders and inner fenders. New 2WD steering box, new brakes and brake lines. Tanks Inc, 16-gallon fuel cell was mounted in the bed of the truck. The exhaust was brought through the bed with custom flanges mounted to the body.

The front was lowered 4.5" and the rear was lowered 6" with a McGaughy Lowering Kit. The freshly built rear axle was donated from my 1969 K5 Blazer and converted to spring under. The rear is a 12 bolt with factory posi & 3.73 gears. It was converted from 6 lug to 5 lug with a Yukon 5 lug conversion kit.

The interior was fitted with a Dakota digital dash and Vintage Air Gen IV SureFit Kit. The truck received sounder deadener, new carpets, door panels, dash, sun visors, dash pad and cluster bezel and a set of rare captain's chairs donated out of a 1991 Chevrolet K30 Crew Cab. The bed and roof were Linex'd and the truck was wrapped in 3M satin black with white decals which are removable.

To complete the NASCAR theme, I bent up a rear bumper out of 1.75" .120 wall DOM and used perforated metal to fill in the middle section.

The truck sounds and runs as good as it looks. It is fast and handles well and is quiet inside.

The Fitech fuel injection is self-learning which means every time I drive it runs more efficiently.

The truck has a few hundred miles on the clock in shake down since completion last month. I will continue to drive it to keep tuning it and to make sure it is ready for a new home.

The truck can be seen in person and if you have any questions, please email me your phone number and I will contact you.

This is a bad ass truck.
