We are selling this fantastic, no-expense-spared '69 Camaro Restomod on consignment, the build having been completed by Barry's Speed Shop of Corona, CA just five years ago (3-time GoodGuys Muscle/Street Machine of the Year award winners). Very rarely do we see a restomod finished to such a high degree. We are told that the owner, a professional hockey player, spent nearly $200k in getting the car to this level, and it's not hard to see where all that money went. First off, the drivetrain. Fuel injected, supercharged, and with 5,220 miles of breaking-in in five years of use. Endless power, modern usability, and of course that sweet, sweet sound from the stainless exhaust. The Tremec T56 6spd is an excellent, tough-as-nails transmission, and shifts are smooth and quick. But what really sets this car apart from a typical restomod is what has been done underneath. The chassis is extremely sophisticated. TCI Engineering has gone all-out with this one; the TCI front clip alone is 120lbs lighter than stock! The suspension was of course gone-through as well, with coilovers all around and a custom TCI independent front suspension setup. Brakes are enormous Baer 6-piston calipers, which reel the car in from speed with ease. While all this behind-the-scenes stuff is pretty amazing, we cannot overlook the exterior. Medium Platinum Metallic paint suits the lines of the Camaro beautifully. Paint and body work is tremendous. Interior has been modernized with the addition of black leather sport seats, a phenomenal sound system, and Cobalt gauges. Exterior: - Please see the video along with the listing, as the car is shown in detail. Every blemish on the car is shown close-up and in direct sunlight. Blemishes include a small scratch at the top of the driver's door, a ding on the driver's lower front fender, and some minor chipping along the lower rockers from just over five thousand miles of road use. - Medium Platinum Metallic has a nice sparkle to it in sunlight, without having excessive metallic flake at all. Tastefully done. Dark gunmetal grey hood and deck lid stripe is stuck on, rather than painted on. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. Windows are tinted, but only a little bit. - Wheels are in excellent shape, with no damage or oxidation. 20 inch in the rear, 19 in the front. Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires are in okay shape, with 8/32" remaining up front and 7/32" in the rear. Interior: - Black leather Procar seats by SCAT look and feel great. They keep the classic muscle look alive while also offering some added comfort and support. No real signs of wear or age in the interior except for some stitching fraying on the underside of the head rests. - Gauges are all functional. Digital odometer reads 5,220 and is accurate. The build was completed in 2013, and was for all intents and purposes a "new" car at the time. - This car is fitted with R134a Vintage Air Conditioning. - Clarion head unit has tuner, SIRIUS, and AUX settings. Kicker speakers and amplifier make this thing bump! Fantastic sound quality. Under the Hood / Underbody: - Please take a look through the underbody photos, as it's documented in detail. Underbody really couldn't be any better. No damage or rust of any sort. You will note the tubular frame rails, coilovers, massive brake calipers, and custom IFS. - While we do not have a dyno sheet handy, we are told that the supercharged LS2 puts out right about 700hp. Having driven the car, our butt-dyno says that's about right. - This car is turn-key. A ready driver. Absolutely no tendencies of concern, and actually pretty refined and easy-to-drive all things considered. If you're in the market for the ultimate restomod Camaro, look no further.
