1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Restomod Hardtop 6.2L V8 LS3 4 Speed Automatic Classic Vi
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Restomod
Like an Olympic athlete that has spent years preparing for world class competition, this '57 Bel Air has been built from the ground up by the best in the business and is ready to go for the Gold. It has been provided with the best equipment available and fed a healthy diet high in chromium, aluminum, and iron. It is just waiting for someone to bring it to the starting line and share in its glory. When... you first see this athlete from a distance, maybe while sitting on the field in the sun, you will be taken by the clean cut of its body and the silver and gold jewelry it's wearing. It is immediately recognizable because there are plenty of similar competitors, but few stand out like this one. It is presented in Millenium Yellow that been expertly applied to the body to perfection. Feel free to place mirrors under this car, because that perfect preparation extended to the undercarriage too. The frame is powder coated and when it was assembled, it doesn't look like they even scratched the nuts or bolts while tightening them up. Back up top, new chrome all around shines brightly leading with a heavy dose of it up front. Then a delicate line of it runs down the side of the car diverging on the rear fender to create the brushed aluminum insert and also tops those iconic rear fins. Billet Specialty alloys finish off the look with their own splash of flash. Open the door and it is immediately obvious that the attention to detail continued in the interior with the work done by Cannon Balls of Nashville. A Silver and Black door panel sets the color scheme and tone of the interior. The seats are upholstered nicely with pleated silver centers trimmed in black. Billet Specialties also provided the steering wheel which sits in front of a Dakota digital dash and gauges. The upper and lower sections of the dash are black with a machined aluminum center, trimmed in chrome, running from side to side that contains control knobs and an iPod compatible FM stereo pumping the sounds out through kick panel mounted speakers. Vintage Air controls are mounted just below the center panel within easy reach of the driver with the vents blowing the cool air from below. Of-course the trunk received its share of love too. There is a Mini Me Bel Air model and a mirror etched with Bel Air in script along with an LS3 badge that lights up with a switch on the battery box. Providing the go to back up all the show of this car is that 430 Horsepower LS3 crate motor we just mentioned. It goes without saying that the engine bay was meticulously prepared before the engine was nestled down into it. There is an LS3 dress up kit for the fuel injection and valve covers with yellow script topping the engine. A polished intake runner guides air to the engine from a K&N free flow filter and a billet serpentine belt setup drives the new alternator, CVF A/C compressor and power steering pump. An aluminum radiator with dual electric fans along with a Moroso overflow reservoir keeps temperatures under control and a 4-speed, 4L65 automatic transfers the power on back while 4-wheel disc brakes handle the stopping duties. From below the car you can marvel at the spotless perfection of the undercarriage as you check out the headers and Flowmaster mufflers that give this car such a sweet sound. This is a very special car for a discriminating buyer who will appreciate the workmanship and attention to detail that has gone into it. Would that be you?
