1969 Chevrolet Corvette

This car means business. Anytime you have a big block with a manual transmission in an early Corvette, you're going to have a smile on your face while you drive it. The colors are factory correct as it was delivered new, the car looks awesome, and it runs strong. Check it out. This car is pumped up and muscular from end to end in its LeMans Blue. But it's not just big bulging muscles. Ok, the big power bulge hood is pretty intimidating. But the rest of the car looks gracefully strong. More like a gymnast than a body builder. It keeps its feet planted firmly on the ground through those beefy tires tucked up under the fenders that curve in and out gracefully cutting a clean shape. It leads with a chrome bumper, one of the last few years to have those, then flows up and over the glass insert T-roof panels then around and down the sail panels meeting the curves of the rear fenders on the deck and blending everything into the integrated spoiler. Four round taillights are a Corvette standard feature and a split rear bumper sits over twin chrome exhaust tips extending out through chrome trimmed cutouts. Open the door and you will find the code 411 Dark Blue vinyl interior that is also the correct color that this car was delivered in new. It is clean with minimal wear and looks extra sweet because it is an unusual color. The door panel has a nice long armrest for long distance cruising trimmed out with chrome piping leading to the door lock and handle. The high back bucket seats have a pleated center section and smooth vinyl bolsters and headrests. A beefy Grant GT steering wheel feels good in your hands and a Hurst short throw shifter rises from the center console just begging to be stirred around. There is a SportComp tachometer mounted on the column with a stock dash and gauges behind it and there is a JVC FM/CD/iPod compatible head unit with Alpine speakers mounted in the rear for your listening pleasure. Pop the hood and you will find 502 cubic inches of big block power nestled down in the engine bay. There is a chrome air cleaner feeding a Holley 4-barrel carburetor with an Edelbrock high rise manifold getting the mixture distributed out to the cylinders properly. An MSD system handles the ignition duties working along with a new set of cap and wires. Ribbed Edelbrock valve covers are painted black with polished ribs helping with oil cooling a bit, and long tube headers get the spent gasses heading back toward dual Flowmaster mufflers and those chrome tips at the rear. Signs of good maintenance include newer belts and hoses as well as a newer alternator. The power flows back through that 4-speed transmission and the rubber meets the road through Mickey Thompson tires mounted on 5-lug Centerline wheels that are staggered with 275/60R15s in the back and 255/60R15s in the front. Factory correct colors, big bad big-block power, and a 4-speed stick shift. Come on down and check out this car. There is nothing more fun that romping on a big engine in a little car.
