1966 Chevrolet Corvette

1966 Corvette Convertible 350hp 4 sp, two tops, numbers matching, Side pipes, knock off wheels, redline tires. Great condition, frame off restored. Runs fantastic. Only 5,000 miles on it since restoration, heres a list of everythiing done at that time, rebuilt everything, 327 numbers matching motor rebuilt to factory specs., new clutch, rebuilt numbers matching muncie 4 speed, Original rear differential restored, driveshaft and 1/2 shafts rebuilt, Trailing arms rebuilt, all new SS fuel and brake lines, rebuilt O-ring calipers, all new hoses, etc.
All new SS park brake components. New power brake booster and master cylinder, all new power brake components, entire front suspension rebuilt, control arm bushings, ball joints, etc, New springs. All new KYB shocks and fiberglass TRW rear spring. New power steering components. Frame was blasted and repainted. New body mounts installed, Bumper brackets also blasted and repainted.
All new Pertronix ignition components, distributor rebuilt with correct advance curves, Numbers matching 3367 carb rebuilt. Correct original alternator rebuilt and restored. All new underhood hoses. Steering column rebuilt. Steering box rebuilt. All ignition shielding is in place. New fan clutch used with correct fan.
New water pump.
New fuel pump.
New repo expansion tank dated correctly with a correct repo cap.
Has a newer battery and cables with correct battery box hold down.
It has a new bolt on hurst type shifte, It shifts smoothly and tight. The clutch has an excellent feel to it, it is not some heavy duty unit requiring heavy effort.
When car completed it received a professional 4 wheel alignment for use with radial tires. It handles extremely well and is a very tight car
Headlamp motors rebuilt
Bumpers rechromed, new tailights, side pipes only have a few thousand miles on them, covers are excellent.
The bolt on type knock off wheels look like brand new, has excellent redline radial tires. The soft top is in very good condition and operates smoothly. The matching hardtop is in good shape, interior of hardtop showing some wear.
Has a new windshield and all the SS trim was polished. The side vent windows and side glass all operate well, as do all the locks. The car had a 427 BB hood put on when it was restored and repainted as the owner wanted it. There is no other hood available.
Just recently installed a new gas tank sending unit.
All wiring harness's from front to back were replaced. Including antenna cable.
The power antenna operates as it should.
Interior completely restored, New carpet and underlayment, seats got new cushions and covers, new dash pads, gauge cluster and gauges restored and work well. Console restored. New sill plates. Original seat belts restored.
It has an aftermarket audio system installed, Secret Audio by Custom Autosound, with a CD changer /player, rear speaker bar with 4 speakers, front kick panel speakers. No modifications were made, this is an add on system.
The wired controller is currently mounted inside the glove box and included is a wireless remote controller.
This is an excellent running/driving car. Needs nothing mechanically at all. Its a dependable fun powerful car, handle and rides and shifts well, no rattles. Its frame off restoration was started back in 2005, the body removed from frame, frame blasted and repainted, body was repainted and reassembled and reinstalled on frame. This work was done by a well known Corvette shop in Virginia at that time. The balance of work was completed in Connecticut by Bill Caldwell Corvette. LLC.
The paint work on this car is not show quality . It looks great from 10 feet away and shines nicely, but it has flaws, stress cracks and bubbles and chips. It should be considered upper end driver quality, not perfect but still something to be proud of at cruise nights. After all, its a red vette!

Can it be improved? Wel, yes, but so could any car. So if you are not looking for perfection, and prepared to pay for that. This car is for you.
The car is currently registered and titled in Florida. The car has been owned by same person since 2003.
