1968 Chevrolet Other Pickups K20 3/4 Ton 4x4 Truck

Totally stock and original, running and driving, nicely patina'd 1968 Chevrolet K20 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup truck which spent it's life on a farm in Mackay, Idaho. It was last licensed for road use in 1982 but was used on the farm until 2016.
The exterior has a cool patina which only Mother Nature could create. It has all original paint (no bondo anywhere) and the body from the cab forward in particular is really strong. Major bumps and bruises are largely confined to the bed. The only exterior rust-through is located on the driver side rocker panels and is minor. Everything else is just surface rust. Front bumper and rear tailgate are missing but readily available in the aftermarket. And included but not installed are period correct aftermarket truck mirrors.
The interior is in good condition other than the original seat upholstery. Dash is in great shape with no cutting or butchery except for one small hole drilled to the left of the gauge pod. Lower gauges and windshield wipers work but speedometer and odometer do not. Original radio and speaker work but there is no antenna for reception. The cigarette lighter and headlight switch are missing but a new headlight switch is included. Windows roll up and down properly and doors open and close solidly. All glass is in good shape with no cracks except windshield. The only rust-through is confined to small portions of each floorboard. I have coated them with a rust reformer so it won't spread.
The all original running gear includes a good running 327 small-block V8 (last year for the 327; has newer battery and fuel pump but could use a tune up) and 4 speed manual transmission (SM465 I believe) connected to a Rockwell 221 gear-driven transfer case. Up front is a Dana 44 differential(needs shocks)with locking hubs and in the rear is an Eaton 5200. The 4 wheel drive system works properly but bolts holding left Warn hub should be drilled out and rethreaded (hub is still securely attached and works as it should). The factory 4 barrel carburetor could use a rebuild and adjustment to your climate and altitude. It also needs donuts between the exhaust manifolds and exhaust pipe and a muffler. In addition, the tires are old and should be considered rollers. And the brakes are grabby so I'm including wheel cylinder rebuild kits. This is all peripheral stuff, the core running gear is very solid.
This is a really nice truck. It's all stock and original with near rust-free bones and it runs and drives pretty decently as it is. It could be a daily driver without too much work. And what it needs to be a driver is just basic stuff. I hope it ends up with someone who will preserve or restore it. Stock and original vintage trucks like this which haven't been modified over the years are getting harder to find. Just my two cents.
