Description:
1963 Chevrolet C-10
Selling here with NO RESERVE is my 1963 C-10 that I took on trade a couple months ago. It's a beautiful little truck that is a newly completed build with just a handful of miles on it since completed. The truck is a short wheel base fleet side with a 427 big block, 700r4 automatic with overdrive, and 10 bolt posi rearend. The truck has just about all new everything---new base coat/clear coat paint with satin clearcoat, all new exterior trim, all new glass, new wood kit and stainless strips in the bed, new white leather interior, new carpet and door sill plates, new tilt column, all new inner door hardware, new window regulators, brand new bumpers front and rear, brand new tires and wheels, brand new 4 wheel disc brakes, brand new mid pipes, new tail pipes and mufflers, brand new aftermarket complete wiring harness, brand new Custom Autosound stereo with Custom Autosound kick panels with speakers integrated into them, brand new Dolphin gauge panel with all new gauges, was told by the previous owner that the engine and transmission have been rebuilt as well but I have no documentation to support that. However, in driving the truck, I would speculate this is true as it doesn't smoke at start up and the truck runs like a scalded dog! I have driven the truck about 2 or 3 miles and that was the day I got it on trade. It rides great, steers great, shifts correctly, stops great, and runs unbelievably! The headlights, tail lights, and turn signals all work as they should. The speedometer and wiper motor need hooked up-both minor, minimal work. The gas tank has been relocated to the bed of the truck so the truck will accommodate a big driver-I'm 6'3" and 260 and fit the truck comfortably. In looking the truck over, it appears to have been done really well. With that said, the truck is NOT perfect, nor am I representing it as such. It's not a $60k show truck so if you're looking for that, please look elsewhere. It's also not a $50k truck for $30k either-seems like the wishful thinking in that regard is a trend nowadays when it comes to purchasing a vehicle online. The truck will stand good for more than it will bring because it's selling with NO RESERVE! Whatever it brings, it brings and will sell! The truck needs the doors adjusted-it's got all brand new weatherstripping and the doors need adjusted to accommodate that when shut. The new exterior trim has dents and dings in it, it appears from installation-still looks and shines great. The truck has had a spray in bed liner put in it and I've seen better work to be honest-I can see where the inside perimeter of the bed used to have some minimal rust but it's not very noticeable-the exterior bedsides are gun barrel straight and have no rust in them at all so whatever rust it had was limited to just the extreme lower inside edges of the bed. There is some bubbling of paint above the windshield and it appears to have been due to improper paint prep. Was told by the previous owner the inside of the cab was painted in cold weather and I'm sure that's contributed to the minimal bubbling-it's not terrible, I am just trying to be honest and transparent here. With all of that out of the way, whomever buys this truck will be EXTREMELY happy with it. The old truck is definitely more than presentable and you will be proud to be seen in it. I have owned 100's of vehicles and I have never owned one that got this many compliments. The color and satin clearcoat seem to capture everyone's attention! I have "picked" it to death such that when you come get your truck after winning the auction you'll think I exaggerated the few flaws it has. Now for the good part--you are welcome to come look at the truck and check it out any way that you like during the auction. It is located in Middlesboro, Ky on Hwy 25E at Dixie Auto Parts which is diagonally across the road from the Pilot Truck Stop. Bidders with feedback of less than 20 must call me prior to bidding or those bids won't be considered legitimate and will be removed-the reason I ask for that is in the interest of preserving the integrity of this auction for those genuinely interested and bidding for this high quality ride. The truck is being sold AS-IS/WHERE-IS with NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER. $1000 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auction's end and full payment is due within 7 days. If you can not comply with the terms of my auction please don't waste your time and please don't ruin the auction for those legitimately interested in buying this truck! Winning bidder is to contact me within 24 hours of auction's end to make me aware of remaining balance payment and transport arrangements. The truck WILL NOT LEAVE MY PROPERTY UNTIL PAYMENT IN FULL HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND/OR CLEARED MY BANK. I am very easy to work with and will be happy to answer your questions either on here or you can call me at 606-269-8911 and I will do my best to make this a seamless and very smooth transaction for you.
