Engine is completely remanufactured 383 stroker from Baril Engine rebuilders in Green Bay. Larry the manager had this engine in his winning modified race car when he quit racing and he rebuilt everything. Bored block .060 and installed 10-1 forged Alum pistons, resized rods (both ends) low friction Moly rings, stroker crankshaft, Cleveite main, rod bearings, and camshaft bearings. Installed new performance camshaft lifters, roller chain and gears. Put a set of CCd high performance heads, hi rise manifold, new Edelbrock 750 CFM carb, and MSD distributor on engine. Also a new water pump and the radiator was boiled out and rodded. New headers and 2 1/2" exhaust system, new KYB high performance shocks, front disks and 4 new calipers. Rebuilt rear double bearing trailing arms with front bushings and bearings.This car is unbelievably fast! Complete repain, new stainless trim where available and 5 Goodrich T/A tires. New Seat covers on Camaro seats for a much better ride, New spare tire cover and braces. Replaced heater/AC switch and put on new compressor. Charged system with new belt, Compressor system has been tested but never used. Car has approximately 3-4 thousand miles since it was redone. The tach is cable driven and does not work as the MSD distributor doesn't have a cable outlet.
