1973 1/2 Camaro type LT
1973 Chevrolet Camaro TYPE LT
So several years ago my stepson who is not a "car" guy acquired this Camaro from his Dad. His dad was an airline pilot and pilot for the Air National Guard. He had several restored vehicles. He kept this car undercover near his hometown to use on reserve weekends and while he was home. It was purchased in the early 1990's. In 1994 it was repainted original color with a two stage urethane. All edges, door jambs, trunk, etc were taped off and are original with no overspray.
The 1973 1/2 LT Camaro was unique . It has split bumpers, fairings and spoiler, wood grained interior accents, and full gauges (all gauges work). The dash, door panels and seats are all original as far as we know and are in good to great condition. There is a picture of the console showing an old repair. There is a new headliner that needs to be glued in to original cardboard. The seats, door panels and all the interior is great with no tears or worn areas.
The car was driven 600 miles to Colorado 4 years ago. New master cylinder and ac compressor were installed but ac needs charged. Tires are good but older. We pulled alternator to verify that engine serial number matches last 5'digits of vehicle vin. The paint is still excellent with no signs of previous damage or rust. One picture shows some bumps by the rear window. I think it was dirt because they are hard, not bubbles, about a 1/6 inch in size.
The trunk pictures show original floor and carpet. Floor in interior is good and carpet possibly replaced since new. Odometer shows 40020 and always was represented as original.Unfortunately Colorado stamps"0" on cars older than 10'years and the people or records are no longer available for verification. Car is sold "true mileage unknown. Aftermarket radio does not work.
The car shows better in person than pictures. Paint is still a 7 out of 10 and I am being critical. Hard to describe a 45 year old car. The urethane front nose shows a slight warp and has been hand touched up on lower nose point. Side windows show minor scratching also.

Took some photos of underside today. Only room for two on add so please text and will try to get more. The underside is very original. Looks like undercoating on it when new and is peeling off . I hate undercoating. Floors, rails, rockers look good and original. Muffler looks newer. Minor signs of seepage from belhousing pan but no fluid running out, just normal for age.
