1989 Chevrolet Corvette Z51

The 1989's are the last of the old school 80's Corvettes and the last of them to have the awesome Atari dash. Last year for C4 styling inside and out. The 1990 kept the early body styling but had a drastic interior change. Low miles confirmed by Carfax (I Have Copy). Today the car had 47,480 miles and goes up a little bit because I drive it. Has original paint, never resprayed. It's not perfect, it has very minor imperfections but still really good. This car has a desirable color combination, red withthe black leather interior. The interior is original and in really good shape.
RARE factory options; FX3 adjustable suspension. This was revolutionary for the time. This system was developed by blistien for the hypercar Porsche 959 and used by Ferrari's at the time. Less than 1500 corvettes left in 1989 with this rare first year option, who knows how many are left today. This option was actually adopted by Chevy for the ZR1 that was suppose to debut in 1989 but was postponed to 1990. Has Z51 suspension option. Car also has rare and first year ZF6 black tag 6 speed manual transmission Notoriously stronger than even the viper T56. Again developed for the ZR1. This vette has the Dana 44 axle (not the dana 36) equipped with the lowest gear set availablefor Corvette (3:54 gear) and factory Positrac, J55 13 inch performance brake option (First introduced as an option in 1988. Popular upgrade for all C4's, and this vette was ordered with them). This literally has the highest performance options you could order for 1989 from the factory.
Additionally I have added some tasteful upgrades. Within the past 3 months I have added brand new $1000 stainless Corsa catback exhaust. Sounds and looks great. This is the highest quality exhaust you can buy for a C4. Also just spent $1500 on brand new 17x9.5 and 17x11 non-deep dish a-mold ZR1 style wheels that I had freshly powder coated with brand new 275/45/17 front and 315/40/17 rears. Included is a folder with $3400 worth of receipts. Ice cold air, hot heat. RefurbishedOEM delco cassette player upgrade with equalizer and upgraded kenwood speakers in factory location.
Everything works exactly as it should, shifts smooth as butter, idles and drives great, this car is really good and needs nothing. Car is pretty darn fast too. Sounds great. If you come look at it, you will buy it. Asking $9,800 with ZR1 wheels $9100 with stock sawblade wheels and like new tires on them. Will be hard to find a nicer red 6 speed with these miles at this price point. I know there are other "Nice" C4 corvettes out there for cheaper but they wont have these options and be this nice. There are a lot of 1984-1988 Red C4's with a wonky 4 speed plus auto overdrive transmission or 1989 C4's with ugly red interior. Or automatics. Or other less desirablecolors like white or blue.
