Description:
1969 Chevrolet Camaro black/red
1969 Camaro automatic transmission resto-mod. White/cream color with a black stripe with red trim over the hood and down the side. Me and my grandpa built this car over the span of years. My grandpa is Dennis Ambrose who has built many award winning Corvette's and was featured on the cover of Corvette magazine, we decided it would be fun to do a Camaro this time. There are a lot of cool features of this car, but also some imperfections. I will be %100 honest with all imperfections the car has and will not try and hide/down play any of them. The first thing you notice while getting in the car is that there are no door handles, instead the doors pop open with a button on the keys. We wanted to add some modern additions to it such as, power windows, AC, Radio with iPod/iPhone connector and remote, subwoofer in the trunk, and a great sound system with speakers in the front, on the doors, and in back above the back seats. The interior is white leather with a black and white houndstooth design on the seats. Black carpet on the floor with custom Camaro logo floor mats. Sound proofing through out the interior to help keep it quieter when inside. The same cream color paint on the exterior is used on the interior center console and in front of the glove box, with a black carbon fiber panel design on top. The shifter is a ball, again with the same cream color paint, and a design on the top, a black circle that says "Quicksilver" in silver writing in the middle. The stereo is hidden in the glove compartment. The seat belts are classic over the waist only click together style seat belts. One of my favorite things is when turning on the lights at night. The gauges look fantastic when lit and the panels on the front lights fly back to reveal the lights. Lastly the car's plates are the originals.
Now for some of the imperfections. The paint on the spoiler and on one side by the side view mirror is fading although the fading by the mirror is very very mild. Sometimes when using the door remote the passenger door won't pop open the first time(may take a few) however I have never had that problem on the driver side door. Since there are no door handles, if the battery on the key dies (very easy to replace) you can open the trunk with the key and there is a button in there to role down the driver side window to reach in and open the door that way. The windows always work, but sometimes the passenger window gets a little stuck and goes up very slowly. (giving it a little push up with your hand will speed it up) Lastly there are two minor paint nicks on the front of the car, they are both rather small and are usually only noticed when pointed out. Car cover included.
If you have any more questions or would like more pictures, or videos of the moving parts of the car (doors opening, car starting, lights opening in the front, etc) let me know. I would be more than happy to give you each and every detail of the car, I understand that when spending so much money you want to know exactly what your getting.
