1986 Chevrolet El Camino 48417 Miles Burgundy Coupe 4.3L V6 Automatic
1986 Chevrolet El Camino --
Built between 1959-1960 and then again between 1964-1987 the El Camino was an adapted from a two-door station wagon platform. It was in response to the Ford Ranchero. The design may have been new to the US but not new in General. Several manufacturers had used the basic Ute design in Australia where it is still a huge success. The fifth generation of El Caminos were built between 1978 and 1987 when production quietly ended for good. There were several... trim options available through GM and also after market companies. The base engine was the 4.3 liter with an optional 305 cubic inch V8. This particular has been residing in the RE Olds Museum in Lansing, MI. This car is a true 48,000 mile car that is in wonderful shape for the year. The car starts, runs and drives as it should. Equipped with an aftermarket radio, it also has working Air Conditioning and tilt column. It comes with its data tag, owners manuals and both sets of keys. The tires and brakes also appear to be fine. These cars in good shape are becoming harder to find.
