1967 Chevrolet Camaro --

This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro represents everything that's good about Chevy's version of the F-body. With a muscular 350, a 4-speed manual, and a no-nonsense look, it's a blast to drive and represents a lot of fun for not a lot of money. The light blue on the car might be a little lighter than Marina Blue, but it still looks right on the Camaro's distinctive bodywork. Fortunately, this one sticks to the original formula and serves up... a unique and attractive alternative that doesn't need stripes or extra badges. In fact, this is pretty much what most Camaros looked like back in the late '60s, simple and smooth. The finish is a few years old and shows some signs of use, but you could probably buff it up a bit to bring out the shine and make it looks its best. We're always impressed by how good early Camaros look without a rear spoiler to interrupt the curve of the quarters and the '67s don't have any side marker lights to spoil the lines. The chrome bumpers look great, too, and many Camaro fans appreciate the early F-body's simpler look and distinct lack of add-on trim, and this is a great example of why. It just looks right. This Camaro also offers a fairly stock interior that shows some wear and tear but nothing major or expensive. The seats, carpets, and door panels are reproduction items that were installed years ago, so they're not crisp, but they're ready to use. You'll note this car came with optional head rests, and it might be worthwhile to find a set and put them back in place. There's no center console, and we like the industrial-strength look, especially with a Hurst shifter sticking out of the flor. Original gauges don't offer much more than speed and fuel level, so a set of auxiliary gauges has been neatly installed under the center stack. This car also sports an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit in the original AM radio's dash slot with speakers in the doors. And one peek in the trunk will convince you that this car has led an easy life, because it's quite clean and includes an aftermarket mat. The engine is a 350 cubic inch Chevrolet crate motor rated at 300 horsepower. Thanks to center-bolt heads, an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and matching intake manifold, and HEI ignition system, it burbles at idle and has the most wonderful full-bore tenor you've heard. It's nicely dressed in basic black with enough chrome to make it worth your while to open the hood at shows. There's also a big radiator with an electric fan, which gives you a shocking amount of clearance up front. Long-tube headers dump into a stock-sounding dual exhaust system with a nice bark at full throttle. The power steering system was recently rebuilt, including fresh lines and a new pump, so no worries when you're running hard. And nothing looks better on a vintage F-body than those vintage mag wheels with fresh white-letter radials. Early Camaros are always a great choice, and this one offers more than most at a price that's less than most. Call today!
