One of the coolest things about the classic car hobby is the amount of passion and creativity enthusiasts put in to builds that can sometimes span decades. And since pretty much everyone here at RK Motors Charlotte is a gearhead, e know the kind of dedication a high dollar project takes. That said; it seems every time we think we've seen it all, nother completely amazing car comes through the doors and just knocks our socks off! This eye-catching Camaro is a head-turning stunner that mixes 427 cubic inches of Chevrolet big block with a tough Muncie 4-speed, horoughly updated chassis components and customary red paint. And if you're ready to feel the fall breeze behind the wheel of a storied Detroit legend, t's a chance to turn your lust worthy dreams into fantastic reality!

Purchased in 2011, nd subjected to a 3-year, otisserie restoration, his solid F1 currently rolls as a brilliant, ttention-grabbing showpiece. Take one look down the sides of the car's slick body and it becomes very obvious that great care was taken to ensure all gaps are at better-than-factory standards. Step closer to the car's vivid pigment and check out straight and ripple-free surfacing that details original fenders, oors and rockers in front of new quarters and a new decklid. Grab the car's new hood and feel how smoothly it opens to provide excellent fit, hich is set off by a glossy clearcoat shine. It all adds up to one top-notch pro-tourer that transforms traditional muscle car style into colorful street rod swagger!

The classy lines of the prototypical Camaro simply ooze late '60s style. And because they're so universal in appeal, hey've continued to gain significant popularity. At the front of this hardtop, shaved and painted grille hangs bright halogen headlights above a painted bumper, resh parking lamps and a new valance that's fitted with a traditional chin spoiler. Behind that grille, shaved header leads the eye to a raised hood, hich shades capped wipers, ew greenhouse glass and bright window trim. At the sides of that hood, clean profile centers chrome door handles and a bowtie-branded mirror between shaved fenders, olor-keyed drip rails, tylish marker lamps and Satin Black hockey stripes. And at the back of the car, second painted bumper frames Rally Sport tail lamps, familiar D80 deck spoiler and a custom 427 badge.

Under the hood, 27 cubic inches of Chevrolet V8 offers plenty of solid motivation thanks to stout 10 to 1 compression. At the top of the body-matched block, big Holley 4-barrell mixes high-octane fossils, ourced from stainless fluid lines, ith wind that's supplied by a finned and color-keyed air cleaner. That air/fuel mixture floods a painted Winters intake, hich centers a polished water neck between polished breathers and finned, 427" branded valve covers. Below those covers, M 858 rectangular-port heads feed a balanced rotating assembly that's centered on a steel GM crank. At the back of those heads, Mallory HEI distributor bridges the gap between a proven Comp Mutha Thumpr roller cam and loomed Accel SuperStock Spiral Wires. Below those wires, ubular shorty headers make quick work of spent gases. At the front of those headers, billet March pulley system spins a beefy water pump between a modern AC compressor and modern power steering. Cooling comes courtesy of an oversize PRC radiator, hich funnels anti-freeze around two SPAL puller fans. The car's color-keyed engine bay follows a slick radiator cowl with hydraulic hood supports and a smoothed firewall. And items like trick dipsticks, polished overflow tank and a glossy master cylinder ensure first class detailing.

Take a long look under this solid F-Body and you'll find a whole roster of great modifications that add up to impressive appearance points and big performance gains. The legendary 427 utilizes a Hayes clutch and pressure plate to spin a tough Muncie 4-speed, hich twists a narrowed Ford 9-inch around big, .70 gears. At the front of that driveline, eidts tubular control arms lead Unisteer power rack-and-pinion steering. Opposite that front clip, n aftermarket 4-link anchors Air Ride Technologies coil-overs under Detroit Speed mini tubs. Stops come quickly thanks to four drilled rotors and a quartet of sixth generation Corvette calipers. Spent gases are managed by polished, andrel-bent pipes, hich make good use of 3-inch Borla ProXS mufflers. Power pounds the pavement through Billet Specialties Daggers, hich spin 225/40ZR18 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs in front of 275/35ZR20 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs. And, ike any carefully restored classic, he bottom of this Camaro is as fit as its top, ith painted and polished wheel wells framing original, ndercoated floors, turdy subframe connectors and a custom aluminum fuel tank.

Inside this Chevy, lassic style is augmented with seamlessly integrated customization. The car's modern, -tone seats display French-stitched leather that's completely free of significant wrinkles and creases. In front of those thrones, red-detailed dash embeds a full array of Omega Kustom telemetry behind a custom instrument panel and billet vents for the car's Vintage Air conditioning. At the base of that dash, custom, ull-length console centers a short Indy shifter between thick, olor-keyed floor mats. Opposite that console, ustom door skins plant chrome door and window handles amid stitched armrests and subtle trim. Above those skins, custom headliner flows to a custom, -tone package tray. In front of the driver, polished and half-wrapped steering wheel laps a tilting column. There's a powerful aftermarket sounds system that consists of a Kenwood eXcelon head unit, ultiple speakers and dual Rockford Fosgate amps. And behind the passengers, custom-upholstered trunk provides a small amount of cargo space.
