It's a stunning car that only has 30 miles on a no expense spared build that looks amazing. The car features an awesome 377ci small block stroker V8 engine with Weber side draft carburetors producing 550hp on a 1900lb car, ust like the original Grand Sport. This car is not for the meek of heart. It even has a custom round tube frame just like the original Grand Sport. The only difference is that this car has a complete C4 Corvette Suspension and brakes. This car is as nice as they come. Absolutely everything lines up perfect and really is stunning. The '63 Corvette Grand Sport lightweight is one of the most desirable and rarest Corvettes cars ever built with originals fetching over $5 million Dollars!!
The complete every nut and bolt build of this car was completed about a year ago and absolutely looks like it was finished a week ago. This particular tribute started off with an original 1963 Corvette coupe bird cage that was heavily modified to the work of art you see here. The body and frame were built by a company called GSR that was shut down by GM, ue to the fact it was an exact replica of the original Grand Sport and they did not have the licensing to build it. This car is serial number 1 of the cars the company GSR built. The quality and fit and finish on this car is second to none. It is truly a stunning car that was professionally built with spectacular attention to detail. It is probably quality better then the original! The exterior of this stunning car is in gorgeous condition. This car is finished in black paint so deep you could fall into it. Topped of with blood red racing strips that really make this car stand out. The paint finish is absolutely gorgeous and it looks amazing. It was hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. The body is laser straight and everything lines up perfectly. It is one of the straightest bodies I have ever scene on a Corvette. This car stops traffic with its beautiful paint and stunning look! It looks so good going down the road that people can't help but stop and stare!
The interior looks absolutely amazing finished in bright red and looks stunning against the black paint. It has custom painted dash with all custom gauges. It does still retain the original '63 Corvette seats and center console. It truly has a retro look with modern touches.
Mechanically, his Corvette runs and drives amazing. The 377ci 550hp V8 runs awesome and sounds like its ready to tear up the streets. This motor and transmission were completely rebuilt when the car was built. Under the hood is absolutely detailed to show condition and looks awesome with the Weber side draft intake system. It has a full C4 Corvette suspension with adjustable coilovers that truly makes this Vette feel like right riding on rails and makes turns at 60 MPH. This car needs nothing.
