99.9% Rust Free 67 Base Camaro, Runs and Drives Excellent
1967 Chevrolet Camaro Base
This is a no-reserve auction. I will be donating at least 1% of the sale price to www.savejester.com It is a fund trying to keep police dog K-9 Jester with his human Handler.
What can I say, here we have a beautiful mostly unmolested 1967 Camaro base Coupe. This is a super clean southwest car it was born at the Los Angeles manufacturing plant on November 1st, 1966. It was sold at Sunset Chevrolet in Lompoc California, on December 23rd, 1966. My guess it was a Christmas present for somebody. I have included the original protecto plate, and owners brochure. Tell dialler show 72000 miles, and I have no reason to doubt this isn't true. This car runs, steers, drives, brakes, like a car with 72000 original miles.
Take a look at the pictures, this is about as clean as they come. It does have some battle wounds from over the past 51 years, but it just adds to the character. Make sure you pay a particular attention to the trunk pictures, and underneath the car. This car is clean!
The color of the car is white, with the nice blue interior with a console. Interior is in very nice shape for 51 years old. It shows minimal wear.
This is a base Camaro with the inline 6 and Powerglide transmission. No power anything. I have been using this car as a partial daily driver passed for the past 3 or 4 months in the Arizona heat, with no problems. I've had it on the highway and it drives very nicely. The tires are less than a year old, and probably have less than 2000 miles on them. All lights, switches, turn signals, brake lights are in perfect working order. All dash lights and gauges work properly. The gas gauge works properly. This car also passed Arizona emissions test. Yes, Arizona still is emissions test back to 1967. Ugh. The heater core had recently started leaking, so I put shut-off valves the bypass it. With it a hundred and ten around here, who needs heat :-) I will include brand new reproduction headlight. There is a crack in the windshield.
There's no guarantees with any car this age, but me personally, I would drive this car anywhere in the US. With that being said, it's always the best option to have your car shipped to your new destination until you can go over it and make sure it's up to your specs.
Please look over the pictures, and ask any questions you might have before you bid. Please realize that the description given is based on my opinions. You might see things differently, so make sure you get all your questions answered first. This car is sold with no guarantees,or warranties whatsoever.
I guarantee a clean title in my name. Which will be signed over to the new owner.
I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for any reason.
There is an immediate deposit of $300 due at the end of the auction, via PayPal. I will only be accepting PayPal for the deposit amount. The rest is due cash in person, or wire transfer to my personal bank. The final payment should be made within 5 days, or the Friday after the auction ends.
