Description:
1955 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100
Up for sale 1955 1st series pickup .This truck used to run up and down Route 66 when it was a lot younger. It is a replica pickup of one of the oldest gas station that was on Route 66 .This gas station was in business for over 60 years taking care of travelers and vacationers with great pride. Now about the truc, it is still original from the day it was built .Along with it's original first year of life " BIRTH "license plates front and back. With a 6 volt wiring system and a straight 6 cyl engine .What I have researched about the stake side beds back in 1951 they where manufactured and installed after they left chevrolet by a 3rd party. As you can see this truck has seen some sights and been around the block .The body is rough around the edges and paint work is not professiona, but a lot of good metal left.It has and older interior restoration package on it, which is still ok for its age .Of course it has its usual maintenance done to it. Truck still starts and runs well for being 63 years old. It has a little play in the steering which I'm going to look into.Side vents windows and door glass are new . Back glass is coming in soon to get installed . So take a look at the pics. See what questions you have, and fire them at me . Thanks For Looking JerryVehicle Details:
