A rare opportunity to own one of 272 L-89 Aluminum head 1968 Camaros with a long lineage of racing history. The triple black radio delete car was raced in Division 7 from day one. Painted by a famous "of the era" painter, Danny Gracia,complete with its gold leaf and patina still intact. The 12K original body is solid as new and has a correct 396 SS/D engine with the original winters foundry cast 842 aluminum heads on it. This is not a car show beauty. It is race ready with an ultra rare Z-16 962 block with all race internals. The engine makes 700 hp with thelegal carb and compression. Stainless tri-Y headers, a Ram sintered iron clutch and a super-strong G Force 101A transmission coupled to a 6.17 ratio Dana rear axle round out the package.
