Exceptionally fine 1958 Corvette Resto-Mod. The 58 Corvette had many firsts such as new body panels, instrument panel, upholstery and seat belts. Also externally it dual headlights, faux hood louvers, and twin chrome trunk spears. This particular car is the one year only Signet Red with matching one year only Signet Red pebble grain seats. This car is beautiful with near mint interior and show grade dash, gauges, chrome and stainless steel. Looks stock with a perfect stance but is expertly updated for way more sophisticated performance and handling. It has a Jim Meyers Racing front suspension clip with fully adjustable coil over shocks, power rack and pinion steering, 4 wheel power disc brakes, 5 tier rear leaf springs with supplemental coils, holding a 3:70 posi rear end. Other notable upgrades include a Tremec TKO 500 5 speed transmission with a short throw Hurst shifter, Dewitt aluminum radiator, and all stainless exhaust and mufflers. The engine is a strong and fresh 64 or 65 327 with 461 casting heads, Flowkooler water pump, and MSD ignition box.The car runs and drives like a dream. No wandering or pulling even under hard braking. The perfectly matched drivetrain and suspension deliver a really exciting driving experience much like a much more modern well sorted sports car than any C1 with stock components can.Everything, and I mean everything works perfectly. The wheels are brand new 17" Americans with BFG tires, less than 40 miles on them.I also have a brand new 1965 365 horse L76 engine that I was planning on installing in this car, but unforeseen medical issues are causing me to have to sell both.
